The busybody Gong ladies, who have been complaining about everything, now take offense that the family’s only heir is marrying a bar owner. Jang-mi’s mom hollers at them, “What’s wrong with a bar?! ” Hyun-hee stands to defend her friend, which is the first Hoon-dong’s mother has heard of her involvement in the bar, and soon the entire wedding has been taken over by fights and bickering. An upset Jang-mi asks if Ki-tae gave Se-ah a baby, but he’s too offended by the question to even answer. He counters by asking why she gave Yeo-reum money, and she says it’s business and takes offense in turn at his suspicion. The best part about balancing your needs is the chance to have real conversations about what you each want out of the relationship. For example, if marriage isn’t something that’s a high priority for your partner, but they are still committed to you, they might be willing to compromise and move forward with the marriage.

Always wanted to check it out coz the first episode recap sounds really good and am glad I get to marathon it instead. Very rarely do I love a series all the way through but this definitely ranks up there as a show that’s perfect to binge-watch on a rainy day. The story surprised me with how lovely it turned out to be despite it’s shortness and Yeon Woo-jin is wonderful in it. Gonna watch out for the leads from now on, they were fun to watch. Absolved of guilt, Ki-tae asks what Jang-mi is hiding, and she tells him she only paid Yeo-reum for his part of the bar since he’s leaving.
I didn’t for a moment think it lowered its level and even if I started seeing it late, I totally feel the withdrawals. This last episode is my favourite I think, mostly because the family ties are so well addressed rather than sugar coated. I loved that Jang-mi’s parents aren’t suddenly romantic and that Ki-tae’s mom decided to live with the women who’s been by her side through it all. I just see it happening in real life to these characters who seem so real and alive themselves. Everyone felt organic rather than puppets controlled by a master. A romantic comedy about a man who doesn’t want to get married and a woman who has no luck in marriage prospect.
She asks Ki-tae to wait, but he rightly says if they wait until all the drama is over, it will never happen. Meanwhile Ki-tae drinks with Dad, who’s calmed down enough to say that he understands that Ki-tae was just being cautious with Jang-mi. They commiserate over how hard it is to be around women who have to talk everything out, while men just get each other without speaking.
Most touching moment — ki-tae mom accepting in laws and friends and wanting to continue living with them. I am still battling the tears as this show has come to an end and also the family relationships it has explored and unraveled. Han Groo was a guest on an old episode of Strong Heart where she revealed she debuted at 4 years old and talked about her boss Joo Young Hoon. Bam Margera hit with temporary restraining order after allegedly threatening man’s life
I was honestly waiting for the part where they’d show that Jang Mi was pregnant. Puking in dramas usually only mean either pregnant, terminally ill or wasted. My top of the mind dramas would be TK2H and R1997 too! And some directions taken with Se Ah, Hyun Hee and Han Yeo Rum that were quite ‘eh? ‘ but overall, this was a very good drama and one that I don’t have much to complain about.
